Last night was parent/teacher conferences (student led conferences). Jenna's science teacher pulled me aside and told me that she has been very impressed with Jenna's example.
She went on to explain one example:
Last Friday was an egg hit activity that involved Jenna's entire team of students (150 at least). Each group of 3-4 students wrapped up an egg in some kind of protective container and sent it through various impact tests. When the activity was over, the entire practice football field was covered with trash and debris.
Jenna, along with 4 other girls, stayed behind to clean up the mess without being asked. The teacher was very moved by her willingness to serve.
I'm not surprised. That's our Jenna!
