Dishwashing

I know. We caved. We bought a dishwasher. Just when the kids were getting really good at doing the dishes by hand! We just couldn't pass this up! John fell in love with the Bosch dishwasher and was holding out until he found a real deal/steal.

He did. This dishwasher was an open box return and he was able to talk the sales guy down to under half the retail price with a 5 year warranty for parts and labor (that's my guy!). The customer who purchased it returned it because they said it stinks. I think they are crazy! It doesn't stink (although it did smell the first couple of cycles, but I think it is that new manufactured machine smell; not as nice as a new car smell). It is wonderful! In fact it is SO quiet that a red light shines on the floor letting you know that the dishwasher is running (look for the red light in the photo!).

John thought he heard a very gentle light rain the other night. He was mistaken, it was the dishwasher.
