No, not reindeer games. We LOVE LOVE LOVE to torture our kids. We started this tradition last year. We came up with a "code" for their "name" on their gifts. They have to break the code to figure out who will be receiving which gift.
Last night John and I wrapped the gifts.
We came up with a code. Whichever child cracks the code, wins a prize.
Let the games begin!
The code - all packages are labeled with one of these numbers which corresponds to one of the kids:
3, 6, 7, 8, 9
Get crackin' kids!
They have already separated out the gifts into 5 piles to start this torturous process ...

So what was the code for the numbers last year?
We told the kids that the girls had one code, they boys a different one ... but we wouldn't tell them which numbers corresonded with which group.
The boys' numbers for the month they were born.
The girls' numbers corresponded with the second letter in their name with the position in the alphabet.
We did give them clues the closer to Christmas. They did figure it out!
I wish I had thought of this! I love it!
I love this idea. My mom always came up with crazy names that somehow coordinated with the gift and we didn't know whose was whose until Christmas day.
