Go to visit Emily and Rod (and cousins) for some Christmas Sing-Along singing ... amazing with 3 prior All State singers and 1 soon to be All State Singer (Julia) along with the musical parents (minus me to a degree) and siblings singing along right with them! We had a blast playing the homemade pipe chimes from conduit pipe (instructions here and here; we made a set several years ago and they are a fun activity with the family and with Primary singing). We headed back home for the one hour drive to finish our evening events and 30 minutes into the trip Julia realized that she forgot a book she needed to read for her AP class.

Read our nativity pageant book which contains part of Luke 2.
Birthday party for Baby Jesus. I always had pound cake with strawberries and ice cream growing up. The kids vetoed that. We had cheese cake instead. It was fun ... with sparkler candles and a whole can of whipped topping. Happy Birthday Baby Jesus!
We had 6 special people read the book Twas the Night Before Christmas. It was fun to hear them react to all 3 sets of Grandparents. The kids really got a charge out of the ending ...
